Exhibition graphic design
Future Impact is the landmark exhibition of six Singaporean designers, curated by Tony Chambers and Maria Cristina Didero and presented by the DesignSingapore Council. Serving as the Exhibition Graphic Designer, I created all of the visual assets for the showcase, which was on display to the public from 17–23 April 2023 at one of the iconic Bastioni di Porta Venezia in Milan, Italy.
The exhibition featured new works by the six designers, each exploring sustainable ways of ‘making’ with new technologies. The logo for Future Impact was designed in collaboration with Nicolas Franck Pauly and represents this constructivist spirit. The accent of red was a recurring theme throughout the exhibition design – a nod to the flag of Singapore.
The typographic treatment from the logo was then applied to the names of the six designers. These appeared on the exhibition graphics relating to their projects.
Working with DWA Design Studio, we created exhibition boards for each of the designers and their respective projects. Each board also featured a biography and QR code, linking to their website or social media channels. Where applicable, the manufacturers were also credited.
