Al Mujadilah, Logo Animation Short, Medium.gif

‘Al-Mujadilah will foster a Muslim society where all women are engaged, their participation and contributions acknowledged and recognized, and their concerns and perspectives shape contemporary Muslim thought and open public discourse.’

Al-Mujadilah is a Mosque & Centre for Women founded by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of the Qatar Foundation. During my time at TC & Friends I had the privilege of working on its visual identity, collaborating with Plan B Creative Studio to craft bilingual branding for its launch and growth. The result draws from historic and contemporary Arabic influences to create an identity that feels distinctly Qatari while speaking to audiences at the local and global levels.

My proudest contribution to the project is the Al-Mujadilah logomark, which is built from the Arabic lettering found in the primary logo. It’s been a joy to see all the places it’s popped up in recent months following the launch. You can learn more about Al-Mujadilah by visiting their website here.
